Cuisine Companion Japanese Style Chicken Curry From Scratch


This Japanese style chicken curry is a mild type of curry. My kids loves this curry. It's a complete meal by itself, but this curry is best eaten with a bowl of steamed white rice. Methods written below are my adaptation to cook this dish with Cuisine Companion.   


Ingredients :

600gm Chicken breast / thigh cut into bite size 
1/2 red apple -cored  - I used Pink Smith apple
1 medium size onion
3 cloves garlic
5gm ginger
4 tbs vegetable oil
2TBS mild curry powder 
1tsp garam masala
 1 1/2 cups water ~ approximately
1 1/2 TBS plain flour
1tsp chicken stock powder
1tbs tomato paste - preferably no added salt
2 tsp soy sauce 
1/2 tsp sugar
1 medium carrot - peeled & cut into chunks
1 potato - peeled & cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4 cup cooking/ thickened cream
salt - if necessary
